Popular Products for 2019 Holidays

As a rule of thumb, the more products you can offer in your shop, the more chance you have of making a sale, but with over 60 products on Redbubble it can be hard to know where to focus your efforts. If you’re getting your shop ready for holidays and wondering where to start, we’ve put together a list of essentials you should make sure you offer in your shop.

These products are universally popular and always do well for holidays so you may also want to put aside time before Black Friday to make some new designs.

Stickers – Matte, Glossy and Transparent

Stickers are one of our most popular products all year round. At holidays, they make great stocking fillers or inexpensive additions for anyone on your gift list. They’re a great way to celebrate inside jokes, or show you really get someone’s sense of humor or secret passions.

T-shirts and Hoodies

Tees and Hoodies have long been a favorite with customers. Hoodies are great for the cooler months and tees make fantastic gifts. Design Tip: Create designs with transparent backgrounds and upload them as png files. The file format will also work perfectly for stickers.

Tapestries

Tapestries make a big impact at an affordable price. They’re super popular for lounges and bedrooms. They’re great for gifts and updating decor for holidays.

Posters and Prints

Wall Art products are always popular with customers. Posters are a particular favorite. Design tip: Whether you’re painting, photographing, print making or designing, try and make those files as high res as possible. The higher the resolution, the more sizes you’ll be able to offer customers.

Throw Pillows

Throw pillows are another quick, affordable way to update home decor. They’re a low risk way to make a statement or inject some fun and they make great gifts too. They’re perfect for multiple rooms including lounges, bedrooms, kids rooms, studies and dorms.

Socks

Giving socks for Christmas can often result in disappointment but there’s no way anyone will be disappointed with a pair of Redbubble socks. They’re a fun way to flip the cliche on its head and celebrate someone’s quirky style.

Mugs

Mugs are the classic practical gift. There are very few people in the world who don’t enjoy a hot beverage and for health and safety reasons, it’s best they drink it from a sturdy vessel. You can help gift recipients enjoy their morning coffee even more by adding mugs to your shop.

Tote Bags

Totes are a super practical way to make a statement. They’re a gift that definitely isn’t going to gather dust in the back of a cupboard. Design tip: use a transparent background when designing for the new Cotton Tote for a more finished look.

Phone Cases

For better or worse, our phones are often by our side 24 hours a day. It’s estimated that 5 billion people on this planet own one. With such a huge potential audience, don’t be afraid to get a little obscure with your subject matter, but remember to tag your work well so your fellow boba tea loving evolutionary biology students can find your design.

Greeting Cards

It’s holidays. People need cards. And there’s no shortage of cards in the world, but there is a shortage of obscure or unusual cards, cards that perfectly match your friend’s kitsch vintage Christmas decor, or cards that remind someone of an obscure place they visited 10 years ago. As with phone cases, think about catering for a niche nobody else has, and tag your work well so people can find your designs.
