*Ok, space stuff is super hard. But it wasn’t easy because y’all made awesome art.

Astrophysicist and QUEEN guitarist Dr. Brian May founded Asteroid Day in 2014 to help raise awareness for all things asteroid. Prominent scientists across the globe (like Richard Dawkins and Bill Nye, whoa) signed on to support this mission. Every year, Asteroid Day excites people about space, educating them about why asteroids are super cool and how we can protect our planet when they occasionally hit.
And you can help too. How? By making awesome asteroid art for our Asteroid Day Challenge.
To enter, make asteroid-themed art and upload it to your Redbubble shop and add the tag asteroidday. Then share to Instagram using the hashtag #asteroiddayart between May 10 and June 15.
The winners will be chosen by elite astronauts including Chris Hadfield, Nicole Stott, Leland Melvin, and more, who will share the winning designs on their social channels. You’ll also get an astronaut-signed copy of your work to proudly display on your wall for the perusement of future dinner guests and nerdy dates.
