Inside Redbubble

Meet the New Redbubble Artists in Residence

While our current residents Ruta Dumalakaitefreshinkstain, and Kelly Gilleran wrap up their tenures and prepare to show off their hard work at the Made in House pop-up shop on July 6 in Melbourne, we are super excited to announce that there’s a new group of incredibly talented artists moving into our offices for the next 6 months as part of the 4th official Redbubble Residency.

The 3 prior residencies took place in only our Melbourne HQ. But for the first time ever, we’ll be welcoming artists into our San Francisco home as well.

Meet our inspiring new roommates below.

San Francisco

Jose Ochoa

Based in Guatemala, Jose Ochoa is a freelance artist and designer with a passion for grand and intensely psychological landscape environments that evoke video games and post-apocalyptic science fiction. Jose will be starting an illustration course at Academy of Art University in San Francisco after he finishes up his Redbubble residency.

Katie Crumpton

Katie is a professional illustrator with a strong stylistic interest in whimsical hand-crafted drawings.. With a passion for children’s book illustration and a focus on an imaginative approach to creating characters Katie has a charming portfolio of artworks. Katie has just graduated from the Academy of Art University after studying illustration. She’s originally from San Francisco, so she’s making the very short commute to join us at the Redbubble office.

Melbourne

freeminds

Indre Bankauskaite is the artist behind freeminds who often collaborates with her boyfriend Povilas Vladyko. Collaboratively their artworks create dreamy and inspiring digital paintings, often featuring animals and portraits of women. Both Indre and Povilas will travel from Lithuania to Melbourne to take part in the residency.

misskatz
