Pray for Paris
Almost three hundred years ago the French people helped define the relationship between the government and its people. They established the ideal of a people who were free and yet united in a common humanity. They argued that no ideology or religion should trump this basic ideal. The January attacks on Charlie Hebdo were an attack on this. And now again, on November 13, 2015, terrorists have taken on these ideals with their attacks on the people of France.
As we did with the Charlie Hebdo attacks, Redbubble will be standing with the people of France. As soon as we knew the scale of these evil attacks we advised that Redbubble will donate all profits from sales of works related to these events to the Red Cross.
Redbubble mourns for all the innocent civilians caught in the cycle of violence everywhere – in Beirut, Iraq, Syria, and beyond.
Pray for Paris.
