Inktober is a worldwide art initiative in which artists create 31 ink drawings for each of the 31 days in October. They then share them across social media with the hashtag #inktober. It was created by artist Jake Parker as a personal challenge to improve his inking skills and kick his productivity up a notch. For artists, participating in online events like Inktober is a great way to network with other artists, share your work in progress, promote yourself, and develop better productivity habits. Plus, it’s totally fun.
