4 Reasons Why You Should Upload Different Images for Each Product

As we kick off the new year, getting organized and sorting through files is a great way to start things off on the right foot. One way you can enhance your Redbubble portfolio so it’s nice and clean is to take a few minutes to look at uploading images for each of your products individually. While you don’t have to do this, and our brilliant uploader can apply one image to our entire range of products, it is a good idea to check out how each of these products appear once you make them live on the site. Placement is so important when it comes to moving products, and highlighting your work, and we don’t want you stuck with a subpar tote bag or duvet. When you’ve got a great design, you want it to look great on every product and having complete control is key.

So in this post we’re going to highlight the benefits of uploading images to specific products and 4 reasons why we think you should take the time out to do so.

1. Your Products Will Look Great

If you use our image uploader to add an image to all our products, that’ll be sweet and is a totally do-able option. I think as our product range grows at Redbubble and your portfolio does too, it’s good to check out exactly how your images will look on different products.

The real benefit of uploading different images for different products is that you will be able to anticipate and adjust the image exactly to your liking. You’ll be able to see how your design sits on a throw pillow and adjust accordingly, or re-arrange a repeat pattern to make a duvet cover pop. Essentially, this is about taking a few minutes to bring your human brain to what would usually be the computerized uploader’s job. Your wonderful human eyes will be able to adjust your designs just as you like them.

So you can opt to upload to all products…

Or you can upload different images to specific products…

And of course you can elect to make certain images unavailable on certain products if you feel like it…

2. Your Customers Love It

Frequently, visitors to your profile are looking for specific products like t-shirts, device cases, mugs, and more. Make sure you enable your designs on a wide range of products to allow for future sales and to let your viewers see how diverse your artwork can be and maximize sales.

3. It Will Mix Up Your Look

When you visit your RB portfolio you’ll see a menu on the left side of the page that shows you on which products your designs are available.
To create a cohesive look of a well planned and diverse shop, ensure you’ve uploaded different designs to a wide range of products.
It looks professional and, frankly, more exciting to see all the different options you have available for your artworks.

4. Redbubble Is Growing And Your Profile Can Too

We’re growing fast, and our range of products is too. We’re passionate to be working like a well-oiled machine and manically paddling pond ducks to bring you the best experience when uploading your artwork. We’d love for you to join us in this evolution and keep up to date with how your artwork appears on products.
