Daily Inspiration: Frank Lloyd Wright on Simplification

"The architect should strive continually to simplify; the ensemble of the rooms should then be carefully considered that comfort and utility may go hand in hand with beauty."

American architect Frank Lloyd Wright had a natural affinity for using the simplicity of his surroundings to create some of the most beautiful buildings of our time. Famous for his integration of nature and buildings, Wright’s advice on architecture prioritizing simplicity is something we can apply to all creative fields. Perhaps all of us as creative beings should hope to create works that combine utility with beauty.
