Rapper Jay Z has some sound advice on the best way to win at approaching projects and developing style. He’s suggesting we approach each creative project individually, and take it as it is. Each creative project is made up of unique challenges and traits; idiosyncratic traits that often mean taking the time to step back and looking at what the project needs, and how best to serve it. By being fluid and flexible in our approach to work, you’re less likely to get tied down to one style, and free to move into new territory.
