This Video of Dogs Shaking Off in Slow Motion is a Work of Art

Photographer Carli Davidson emBARKed (see what I did there?) on a project in 2011 that involved her snapping pics of dogs in mid-shake, and the results couldn’t be better. She managed to capture dogs’ faces at perfect moments of distorted, hilarious adorableness and compiled the images into a newly released book titled “Shake”.

To promote the collection, Davidson teamed up with Variable to make the above video, and I think you’ll agree that aside from it being just plain ol’ funny, it’s actually strangely beautiful — and a bit gross — watching the skin, drool, and fur swing and twist in super-slo-mo.
