The Weekly Wrap

There’™s no such thing as a quiet week on RB and you’™ve certainly been keeping busy. We enjoy reading through journals where artists have shared their achievements, news, tips and tricks and we’™re always equally impressed by the support and encouragement offered in the comments. So without further ado, here’™s just some of the action we spotted in the past seven days.

Works by Lynda Robinson and Greg Pastoll

  1. This week we saw two bubblers from opposite shores of the big blue get the opportunity to sit side by side, and share their thoughts for a brief time. Greg Pastoll from Cape Town, South Africa was able to cross a few things off his bucket list when he visited with Lynda Robinson in Seymour, Australia.
  2. Karo Evans was totally stoked to discover one of her images had been chosen for the cover of Artflow Magazine.
  3. ctheworld shared their New Year’s Resolution to create more challenges in their groups. Looks like you are off to a great start ctheworld!
  4. Cordell Cordaro has scored a two page spread in the winter edition of the Metropolitan Magazine.
  5. For anyone who has ever exhibited, you’ll know just how much hard work is involved. So we can only imagine how busy Paul Nelson-Esch is going to be with three exhibitions in February!

Works by Valerie Rosen

  1. Looks like Valerie Rosen has found her calling with one of her images winning 1st place in the Series 4 category “€œIndia Is…Unforgettable, It Stays With You” in the “€œIndia Is€” Photo Competition.
  2. If you haven’t yet had a chance to check out the Midnight Gardens inspired by Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay exhibition featuring the work of John Douglas, it’s on until the end of the month so you still have plenty of time.
  3. Jeff Weymier has had one of his images selected as a full page feature in Bird Watching Daily magazine. Way to go Jeff!
  4. If you know your buntlines from your backstays, you may be interested in popping over to the Love of Boats group to wish them a happy first birthday!
  5. Naomi Downie is tickled pink to have not one, but two of her images featured in the latest edition of Pink Panther Magazine.

Congratulations to the artists above. Each week we feature a small selection of news, inspiration and achievements we’ve spotted, but we’d really like this to serve as an intro to your own news. What was the highlight of your week? Have you got any creative projects planned for the week?
