To coincide with Halloween, illustrator Dan Aragon is creating a new monster for each of the 31 days of October and wants to release them all in a horror-centric art book, but he needs your help.
“31 Monsters” will be a hardcover book with 20 pages of high resolution illustrations featuring info about each creation and behind the scenes production goodies.
In order to see his beasties come to life like Frankenstein’s bolt-necked buddy, he’s turned to the crowdfunding site IndieGoGo to fund the project that he says brings him back to his horror roots. He’s looking for $3800 to cover printing and shipping costs and is offering posters, prints, T-shirts, and more as rewards to backers.
