New Year’s Inspirations Challenge Winners!

We’re well into 2013 and some of us might still be roaring ahead on goals for the new year, while others might be losing a little steam after that initial gung ho-ness. Whether you’re the type to set goals and stridently stick to them or not, one thing we could all use is a message of inspiration. Encouragement to keep going, achieve the lives we want, or aim higher – these are aspirations we can all relate to, whether it’s for our lives or our art.

To that end, we presented a challenge a few weeks back of creating inspirational posters, meant to inspire and encourage. We got an unprecedented number of entries, from the silly to the sublime to the profound and it was great fun sorting through them all to see what you came up with. But alas, all contests must end sometime, so without further ado, we’re pleased to present our very inspirational winners:

In first place: Anything Is Possible by samedog

We loved the message, the image of a washing machine shooting into space and the crisp font and color scheme. Well done, samedog! A $200 Redbubble voucher will be heading your way shortly.

In second place: Choose To Be Happy by thespngames

What a great typography, layout and reminder that happiness is a choice. Thanks for the lovely rendering of a poster we could imagine hanging on any wall, thespngames. You’ll soon have a $100 Redbubble voucher to spend on some excellent art and design.

In third place: If you are feeling down go high by pascalplus

A lovely, minimal design and we love the vintage tones in this one. Nicely done, pascalplus. You’ll receive $75 Redbubble voucher for your efforts.
Congrats to all our winners and thank you for entering. We also want to take this opportunity to thank you for reminding us of how inspired we are by all of you, everyday. Be sure to check out the rest of the entries on our Facebook page and leave a comment or share the work if you like it.
